I had tried starting out NaNoWriMo by rewriting the beginning of RotT, just as an experiment to see how it compared. I found that I wasn’t very inspired and dropped that idea 700 words into it. I had already written about 20k worth of content towards RotT prior to November’s start, which doesn’t count towards my 50k mark. So instead of focusing on my hero and heroine, I decided to write stuff that hadn’t made its way out of my head yet.
Poor Cameron. That’s really all I have to say about what I’ve been writing, since I can’t give much away without revealing stuff about Thanmir War. What I had planned for Cameron (cut funding to his military unit) is not what happened. Instead, it’s been something far worse.
I’m up to 12k already and I haven’t run out of inspiration yet. In fact, Cameron has another song for RotT. The Cave by Mumford & Sons.
