Featured Photo Friday

Posted on March 7, 2014 by Loni Townsend

Today’s featured photo picture the only type of cats allowed in my house. My husband, though he loves the little kittens, is terribly allergic to cats and usually ends up struggling to breathe when the furballs are around. Not to say he hasn’t tried. He’s adopted two cats since we’ve been together, and had to pass them along to our friends within a day of getting each.

I collect glass bottles. I have shelves and shelves of them (most liquor and most from my sis-in-law). These cats came bearing wine. Riesling in fact.

Do you collect any crazy things?

Cool photo. I’m allergic to cats, too. I collect rejection letters — and the occasional acceptance.

Heh, well, I’m thinking your collection is better than mine.

I have started collecting autographed books by bloggy friends. Just one of them has to make it to Stephen King status and I am going to sell on eBay and get me some dough. This writing gig will pad my bank account one way or another!

Very cool bottles! And a great shot. Currently, I really only collect books 🙂

Can’t say I collect anything weird, but the cat bottles are cool

What a great shot! This totally sets my imagination on fire, and I’m having a “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids” moment.

I used to collect pewter figurines, but since having kids, I’ve given up on collecting anything, other than years…and maybe white hairs. We’ll see if I get back to it after the little hands are out of my home. =)

My daughter has learned not to touch the bottles and now just ignores them. They don’t do anything except sit there anyways…boring! 🙂

I think kids are associated to white hairs. I’ve noticed a lot more in the past few months.

That’s too bad. I would be very sad without my kitties. I’m only slightly allergic to them so if I keep them out of the bedroom then I can breathe at night. 🙂 Glass collections are pretty with the sun hitting them but a nightmare to dust!
