I love it! I’m probably getting on everyone’s nerves with my Instagram filters on all the photos I post online now. I just think filters are so cool–and I’m far from being a talented photographer like you are.
I love Instagram, though I typically use it for family-related pictures. If you look at my profile, you’ll see my children’s faces plastered across the screen. 🙂
Wow, what a photo. I’ve taken a few in my yard after rain, but you’ve captured the rain far better. What do you mean with a filter on your phone? I’m a point a click camera person, so don’t know much about taking artistic photo’s.
Right you are about no option for email, thankfully. I never email someone instead of hoping back to their blog, reading and commenting. Was in a blog challenge last year, that all people did was email someone after they got a blog visit. Seemed truly one sided to me, blog A get’s a visit, and a comment…thus blog traffic and in return they get an email…no blog visit, no comment, no blog traffic. The challenge group actually had a discussion about the topic and those emailing instead of blogging back said it’s much faster and easier; but to me it defeats the purpose. Just thought I’d pop back and respond.
I like to play with a software called Snapseed, which is an app on my phone. It has fun filters you can apply, and in this instance, I used the drama filter before uploading it.
The email mention was mostly in relation to Gravatar. I hadn’t known people actually email replied instead!
Drama creates a different and tailored effect based on each image and can range from a subtle enhancement of textures and details to an over processed effect that mimics the look of HDR images.
What an amazing image! Is Snapseed only available on iphones, or can you get it on android too? Just asking, because I’m not lucky enough to have an iphone. 🙂
Beautiful photo. That’s an amazing picture to get with your phone. Have a lovely weekend! 🙂
Thank you! You too!
Very nice. You’re right; the 3-D effect is awesome!

Glad you like it! I took a macro shot, but it wasn’t as cool as this one.
Nice! And it looks good in your header.
I do like how this theme vertically centers the images.
I always love pics w/water droplets, and this is no exception! I am now off to wade through my own water-bespeckled grass- time to mow! =)
That pesky grass just loves to grow when water is involved.

Fantastic pic! Wonderful detail and three-D effect!
Thank you!
Let’s hear it for the drama filter. Very nice. May the 4th be with you!
Drats, a day late in responding. I had wanted to say May the 4th be with you too!
You’re amazing. You could make your own stock business!
Aw shucks! Thanks Carrie!

Amazing! I just started doing weekly photo challenge on a new blog as a way to keep pushing myself to do more with photography.
I’ve liked what photos I’ve seen of yours. I’m going to have to keep an eye out for this new blog of yours.
This.is.awesome. How did you do it?!?!
I need some raindrop love on my phone!
Hehe, it was one of those settings that I just happened to have my phone on me to take the picture. Luck really.
That is stunning. Wow.
(What’s a drama filter?)
Thanks!
Drama is Snapseed’s name for the effect.
It’s fun to play with. 😀

Actually, I don’t have an iPhone. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3. Snapseed is actually a Google owned app, so yep! It’s on android!
