November 1st kicks off NaNoWriMo, and though I had high hopes of actually hitting 50K before the end of the month, those hopes have dwindled. I’m fairly certain I will fail, due to the sheer time or lack thereof. I can barely manage 300 words on a normal day, and it’s not due to lack of dedication or inspiration. You might see why I’m insecure.
But I’m going to try, regardless. I have the 10th off, all to myself. If I fall behind, maybe I can pull off 17K then.
November Question – Win or not, do you usually finish your NaNo project? Have any of them gone on to be published?
Uh, no. In fact, my novel is titled “Good Grief, she’s trying to do it again” because this will be my 5th time trying to make a reasonable impact on the book I’m currently working on. *sigh*
What’s your history with NaNoWriMo?
